Investing and advising

Stage: I invest mostly in pre-seed/seed and sometimes Series A rounds.

Check size: ~ $10K to $25K.

Advisor engagements: I love helping founders succeed, regardless of whether I end up investing or not. If my background and knowledge could be helpful, let’s talk!

Focus: I am primarily focused on consumer/social and marketplaces but I am open to hearing and investing across all sectors. What I am usually looking for is a combination of a really strong product oriented team that is uniquely positioned to address a pain point in a large or fast growing market.

Beyond the check:‍
You are busy building a business. My main job is to be helpful. What I can help with:

1. Product: I have over a decade of experience in product management and love early product brainstorming. Where I can help most is with providing different frameworks, figuring out how to break down a product into pieces that could be tested and validated quickly (in early days it’s all about how quickly you can learn) and charting the path to product/market fit.
2. Growth: Once you find product/market fit, I can help with growth strategy and tactics.
3. Fundraising: I have an extended network of early-stage investors. I love connecting founders to other investors that might be helpful or strategic (often for future rounds).
