Work stuff

Currently I am VP of Product Management and GM responsible for Meta Avatars. Before VR I led the Advertiser Product Experiences team, and prior to that I spent 5 years building consumer products in the Facebook app and another 5 years building my own startup in local discovery/travel space.

A few of my favorite products I built:

• Facebook Profile frames, which started as a hackathon idea between me and 2 engineers in 2015. It turned out to be one of the most viral products, being adopted by close to 200M people in a span of a week after global rollout in late 2015. Most recently Facebook partnered with CDC and US Department of Health and Human Services to launch “I got my COVID 19 vaccine” to encourage vaccination;
• Profile Photo and Video platform, which I announced at F8 in 2016. This product became the foundation of Camera Platform Facebook has subsequently developed;
• Facebook Dating - I led the early proposal and secured funding to build an MVP in 2017. I then hired an incredibly talented PM leader and team to build out the strategy and lead the product to its successful launch in 2018;
• Wist - local recommendations app that we launched in my startup and featured among best new apps and best travel apps by Apple.
